On to Cheyenne’s game where I am one of the coaches, so we have to be there early. This particular day we had team pictures before we played. All was going great and everyone was feeling pretty good. The game starts and we are doing great. Then what do you know, another ball, kicked really hard, right at Cheyenne’s face. These are bigger girls with much bigger kicks. It hits her in the right temple from about five feet away. I look at Cheyenne to try to read her face on how bad it hurt and I see her tear up but then tough it out. The game continues and she looks ok from where I was ( about half a field away) They move down the field close enough now for me to really see her face, covered in tears but still not asking to come out. As a mom I subbed her anyway. We put some ice on her face and just like Ciera that didn’t last long, she wanted to play. I put her back in and she just wasn’t being herself I could see something was off. I pulled her for the rest of the game, which by this point was only about 10-15 minutes. The other coaches were talking to her and checking her out cause she laid on the grass face down holding her head. We ended up at the hospital, where we found out she had a concussion! They also x-rayed her face to make sure there were no broken bones anywhere. Thank GOD there wasn’t. We had to wake her up every two hours all night long.

WOW what a day! She is doing much better today, just a headache still. I am always amazed with my girls. They are so tough. Ciera’s little nose is just a tad swollen still. Gotta love Soccer and the girls who play it….

So far our parenting has paid off as Cheyenne and Ciera both are honor roll students. They are great kids with discipline and lots of love. I would even venture to say that we are just fine and you probly should really focus on what you have going on in your own life and not get yourself all worked up about ours

I would like to take another moment to address the thousands of awesome people who write to us daily and to be quite honest sometimes brighten our day! Thank you all so much for all the love and support and you are always in our prayers. I have had some very sad messages from teens who have a less than fortunate situation at home and like to talk to me about things. I have had alot of kids ask me to adopt them LOL so I can not tell you for sure how many kids I am up to these days!! We have gotten videos and messages from people who say we have inspired them and they have succeeded in something because they got the “never give up” message from some of our videos. Those are my favorite!!

Thank you all so much for everything. I just wanted to vent a couple things and maybe ease some “crazy ” peoples minds. I also wanted to let you all know how much we appreciate you and all the messages we get.

One night I went to check my email and there were about 400 + emails. I was like “what the heck is going on?” I started to scan through when I stumbled across a message saying “if you are wondering why this video is blowing up Christian Beedles posted it.” LOL I had no clue who that was so I asked Cheyenne. She SCREAMED then told me he was Justin’s friend. Everything just kinda took off from there. We started getting calls from t.v shows and radio stations. It was crazy!!

Soon we were contacted by The Jimmy Kimmel Show. They wanted to set up a surprise meet for the girls and Justin Bieber…..
